Kitara, as the daughter of a shaman Kitara is able to look into the future. It is this that led her to realize her fate was tied to Philar, and the eventual meeting when she was able to help him when he needed it most. But she also realizes that they must part and the subsequent emotional turmoil leads her into an accident. A blood transfusion from Philar makes her unique in her ability to harness his strength of will.

CC's Kitara Guide v2.1 (for RMC v3.9)

A Kitara can be played as blue honor or red honor. Kitara’s attack is not as strong as other mages, but she has the best support skills in the game, making her a very desirable member of any group. For best use of bonus points in early stages, you may opt to add strength and use a spirit ring. However, when you advance in levels and can wear rare rings, your own strength is not necessary. To avoid having to use a poison pill, stats in this guide are for wearing a strength ring.

Level 1 – 50

Weapon – Gun/Wand

  • Stats at lvl 16 – 10-490-10-10
  • Stats at lvl 25 – 10-750-10-30
  • Stats at lvl 50 – 10-1075-10-300

For first 24 levels, add bonus points to spirit only, and play hit-and-run style. Until you can use your first wand at lvl 25, use a gun to supplement your Ghost Will. You may or may not wear armor, and carry mostly MP drinks. Stay in Street2 until lvl 16 (490 spirit), then move to Street3 to level on Robbers and Spy2 along the left side. When you reach lvl 25 and pick up your wand and necklace, you will be able to 1-hit Thugs, with lvl 24 spirit. Add 2 points from lvl 25 to power, and keep raising power upto 300. Pick up your strength ring at lvl 30, and start wearing full armor, if you haven’t already done so. Stay in Street3 until lvl 40, leveling on Thugs and Spy2. From lvl 40-50, you can either level on Cyborgs along top and left side of Street1 or try JY with a group.


Level 50 – 100

Weapon – Wand

  • Stats at lvl 100 – 10-2590-10-300

Hasten, the lvl 50 skill will make you a very effective hit-and-run character. With this skill, you will be able to survive JY with 300 power. Concentrate on raising your spirit to 3010 (1-hit Mutant).


Level 100 – 150

Weapon – Wand

  • Stats at lvl 114 – 10-3010-10-300
  • Stats at lvl 150 – 10-3010-10-1020

Continue to level in JY, and start building your power to prepare for Downtown. You can also try BY, which is a more spread out map, well suited for a Kitara. When your power is close to 1000, you can survive DT with a sword. Leveling in DT will be very difficult at this early stage, since you don’t yet have a strong attack.


Level 150 – 200

Weapon – Wand or Sword

  • Stats at lvl 200 – 10-4210-10-1230

Raise your power to 1200 first, and then start building your spirit to 4210. These levels can be done in JY, BY, or DT1 with a good group. Before going into DT, make sure to pick up the sword from DT1 scientist. These swords will add additional defense to survive sniper hits, but you will lose attack from the wand. Make sure you have a group before attempting to level in DT1.



Level 200 – 250

Honor – Red
Weapon – Wand

  • Stats at lvl 250 – 10-4555-10-2000

You will do most of these lvls in DT1 and DT2. With your stats at lvl 200, you can 1-hit Snipers and Commandos with MV (lvl 200 skill for red honor). MV will take a lot of MP (25%, compared to 10% GW), but will add HP when you kill. Carry mostly MP and minimal food. Raise your power to 2000 first, then start working on Spirit to 5005. When you raise your spirit to 4500, you should change to blue honor for egg, and use GW to kill.



Level 250 – 300

Honor – Blue
Weapon – Wand

  • Stats at lvl 300 – 10-5005-10-2710

Continue to raise your spirit up to 5005, then raise power to 3500. 5005 spirit with wand will not be enough to 2 hit espers until lvl 300, but if you want to level in Sahara, you can use boosters to add to your attack. Unless you have a good group, I do not recommend Sahara2 at this stage. The TNTs will take too long for you to kill, and they will cause heavy damage, especially in groups.



Level 300 – 400

Honor – Blue
Weapon – Wand or Sword

  • Stats at lvl 400 – 10-6835-10-3500

GoM is a wonderful skill to have in a group. It will give your group unlimited stamina to run and level. For this reason (and eggs), a blue kitara is highly desired for leveling groups. Find a group to level in Sahara Dungeon1, and use a sword and shield for extra defense. If you have to level alone, level in Sahara1 or 2. After reaching 3500 power, raise your spirit to prepare for GoD at lvl 400.



Level 400 – 500

Honor – Blue
Weapon – Wand or Sword

  • Stats at lvl 500 – 10-9100-10-4000

With GoD at 400, you finally get an attack skill you can use. It’s still best to join a group and level with sword and shield for maximum defense, but you can also solo. If you level alone, use a wand for maximum attack, and make sure to kill from a distance, as GoD has the longest range of any magic attack.



Level 500 – 600

Honor – Red

Weapon – Wand

  • Stats at lvl 600 – 10-10615-10-5000

If you have a regular group that can take you to 600 and beyond, stay blue and level with the group. If not, change to red for Puri at 500. Although the range for Puri is rather short, you can level comfortably in Sahara Dungeon2 or BSD. With red honor, you have the option of using MV to fill your HP if you’re running low on food Raise your power to 5000 first, then work on your spirit.



Level 600+

Honor – Red

Weapon - Wand
For Kitaras, it’s best to stay on earth until lvl 700. You have the option of lvling in Dungeon2 or BSD, which offers good leveling speed and good HP & MP drops, or Himalaya or Himalaya Dungeons. At lvl 700, with Evasion, you can level in relative safety on signus with 12k spirit and 6k power (with Regen necklace, e-ring and WoS).
